rcs started out with little more than the enthusiasm and vision of our founding partners. We began in 1996 as a retail contractor and our first project was the construction of Pete Luckett’s Pete’s Frootique in Sunnyside Mall in Bedford, Nova Scotia. We owe a great deal of our success to Pete as he helped put us on the map. Our relationship with Pete continues to this day and we have completed work in several of his other locations. Working with Pete helped us carve out our niche in the construction market and we quickly became known for doing exceptional ‘live’ grocery store renovations – most often for grocery giant, Sobeys.
Today our site signage can be seen all over the Atlantic Region and our reputation for quality building, interesting projects and stellar service are often noted by our ever expanding list of clients. In fact, 85 – 90% of our work load comes from repeat clients, negotiated contracts and client recommendations.
Showcase projects such as the first Moxie’s in Atlantic Canada; the new concept McDonalds and Tim Horton’s restaurants; the LEED Platinum facility, Halifax Seaport Farmers’ Market and the Margaret Norrie McCain Centre at Mount Saint Vincent University help to distinguish us from our competition. We certainly never shy away from a gutsy, gory renovation or a challenging new build.
Our values keep us strong, our clients keep us focused and our team keeps us smiling.
We want to be the BEST contractor, the BEST place to work and the BEST choice for your business.
Every project is customized to accommodate the needs and convenience of our Clients by focusing on their most important concern… those of their customers
