Doug Doucet, President & Owner of rcs construction, met with Premier Tim Houston and his group on site at the Affirmative Ventures Affordable Housing Project in Dartmouth, NS. Located on 139 Main Street, this project is for a seven story, 45-unit mix of affordable and much needed senior housing.
The building will include 25 affordable units plus 20 units that will be offered for level access to social enterprises, that will help persons with mental health diagnosis, services to support seniors, walking distance to local businesses, Halifax Transit stops, and dedicated storage.
This project is made possible by the Government of Canada’s Affordable Housing Fund (AHF) and rcs is happy to be part of a such a great initiative.
