rcs construction completed the 114 Wright Ave Building Renovation for Bird Mechanical Ltd., transforming an aging industrial facility into a sleek and efficient office space in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This commercial renovation covered 12,000 square feet and included comprehensive upgrades to support Bird Mechanical and its tenants.
The scope of work included a full interior office fit-up featuring high-efficiency HVAC systems, new plumbing and electrical infrastructure, and modern staff amenities. On the building’s exterior, a new curtain wall system and updated siding dramatically enhanced the building’s appearance and performance.
Significant infrastructure improvements included the removal of the overhead electrical service and installation of a new underground system to improve safety and site aesthetics.
Delivered through a Construction Management contract, this project emphasized close collaboration between rcs construction, Bird Mechanical Ltd., and the consultant team throughout each phase. The resulting space reflects Bird’s commitment to quality and operational functionality, featuring contemporary finishes, custom millwork, and polished client-facing spaces.
