The Jack Astor’s NL project involved an interior fit-up for approximately 8,000 sq.ft. within the Harbour Walk Building. The work included transforming the leased space into a fully functional Jack Astor’s restaurant that meets the brand’s national design standards and operational requirements.
The project scope included complete interior construction, including coordination of structural elements, mechanical and electrical distribution, and integration of all food-service systems. The restaurant features Jack Astor’s signature industrial style with exposed ductwork, open ceilings, brick accent walls, custom lighting fixtures, and high-contrast millwork. Dining areas include a mix of high-top tables, booth seating, and open floor layouts to support high-capacity service.
The fit-up incorporated a feature bar with stainless steel counters, multiple beer taps, audiovisual screens, and specialty lighting. Washrooms were completed with tile finishes, mirrors, and fixtures matching corporate specifications. A full-height glazed entrance lobby was installed to create a bright and welcoming arrival space for guests.
As a project within the Retail construction category, the work required precise scheduling and coordination between consultants, engineers, and trades to ensure full alignment with brand standards and proper integration of all building systems within the existing structure.
