rcs construction delivered the base building for Soprema Canada, creating a contemporary industrial facility that balances the scale and efficiency of a high-bay warehouse with a clearly defined administrative and public-facing entrance. The project includes approximately 20,000 ft² of new construction, with dedicated office and warehouse spaces.
The facility was designed for both distribution and the day-to-day operations of the business. The site was strategically selected for logistics and accessibility. Located near Highway 118, the facility is highly visible along a key route connecting Dartmouth with Truro and Halifax Stanfield International Airport.
The exterior uses a restrained architectural palette of white metal cladding, dark masonry, and Soprema’s signature blue accents. A large glazed section introduces natural light and creates visual rhythm across the warehouse elevation, while the contrasting masonry base gives the office frontage a more defined, human-scaled character.
Inside, the design transitions from a refined office environment to a large, open warehouse volume. Full-height black-framed glazing, contemporary finishes, wood-look flooring, and linear lighting create a bright and professional workplace, while the high-bay warehouse provides the scale and operational capacity required for large-scale storage and distribution.
The result is a purpose-built commercial facility where architectural identity, workplace design, and industrial functionality come together in a cohesive building designed for both operational performance and strong visual presence.
