Touch of Gold – The Mills, located at 5490 Spring Garden Road in Halifax, is a retail project completed by rcs construction involving a full interior fit-up for a premier Canadian jeweler and luxury watch retailer. The new location occupies the former site of the iconic Mills Brothers, bringing a renewed sense of elegance and craftsmanship to one of Halifax’s most historic shopping districts.
The 3,680-square-foot store features detailed millwork, refined lighting, and premium finishes designed to highlight renowned brands such as Rolex, Breitling, and Montblanc. Every element — from the custom showcases to the wall treatments and illumination — was executed to meet the exacting standards of both the client and international brand partners.
Working in collaboration with Launch by Design and Obrist, rcs construction delivered a sophisticated and timeless interior that unites functionality with luxury. The new boutique offers a modern retail experience while continuing the Touch of Gold legacy on Spring Garden Road.
This project aligns with best practices promoted by the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC), supporting sustainability and energy-efficient construction across Canada.
