rcs construction acted as the general contractor for the Tru Hotel Yarmouth project, located at 10558 Starrs Road, Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. The work involved the full design and construction of a new four-storey, 89-room hotel, including complete interior fit-up and finishes in accordance with Hilton’s brand standards.
The modern hotel features a colorful exterior façade, spacious guest rooms, and bright interior design elements that reflect Hilton’s contemporary vision. The project included a variety of guest amenities such as a fitness center, business and meeting rooms, lounge areas, and modern technology integrations designed to enhance the guest experience.
This development represents a key addition to Yarmouth’s growing hospitality sector and supports local economic growth by creating new employment opportunities and strengthening the community connection through its partnership with the Acadia First Nation, the project client.
With a total value of approximately $10.8 million, the project was completed on time and within budget between September 2019 and September 2020. rcs construction ensured efficient coordination between consultants, architects, and suppliers to deliver a high-quality facility that meets both Hilton’s international standards and the needs of the Yarmouth community.
