September 30, 2026 marks a major milestone for rcs construction as we celebrate 30 years in business. This year, the date makes the milestone even more memorable: 30 years on September 30.
Since 1996, rcs construction has grown from a small company with a simple goal — to work hard, do good work, and build strong relationships — into the company it is today.
Over the past three decades, our team has grown, our services have expanded, and we’ve had the opportunity to work with many clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and community partners across Atlantic Canada.
A lot has changed since 1996, but the importance of people and relationships has stayed the same.
As President & CEO Doug Doucet wrote in the latest edition of rcs Blueprint:
“This milestone belongs to everyone who’s been part of the rcs story.”
Our 30th anniversary is a chance to recognize the people who have contributed to that story over the years. Employees, clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and community partners have all played a part in getting rcs to where it is today.
The company’s core values — Accountability, Communication, and Teamwork (ACT) — have remained an important part of how rcs works and builds relationships.
As Doug put it:
“The best part of our story is still being built.”
Over the coming year, we’ll continue marking the anniversary by sharing stories, memories, projects, videos, and moments from the rcs journey.
