The Butler Boardroom Unveiling

“Our very first employee, and a master at many things.”

Our head office in Bedford, NS unveiled our newly named boardroom, The Butler Boardroom. This is in honour of one of our cherished employees, the late Floyd Butler.

On September 21, 2023, rcs employees gathered in person in Bedford, uniting virtually with colleagues and Floyd’s family for the official unveiling of The Butler Boardroom.

Floyd was the first employee at rcs, starting his 20+ year career with us in 1997. He contributed his skills and dedication to our projects in both Nova Scotia and Newfoundland & Labrador and made life-long friendships with many colleagues at rcs. In our President, Doug Doucet’s words, “Our very first employee and a master of many things… He left us far too soon.” Floyd had an innovative flare to him like no other.

Thank you to our Leadership Team for your kind words and comedic stories about Floyd, and to our regional offices for tuning in for such a special occasion. Lastly, our sincere thanks go to Floyd’s family for joining us in unveiling this memorial boardroom. Floyd’s humble and gentle spirit lives on within The Butler Boardroom, a symbol of his enduring legacy.
